Mission Statement:

To educate, celebrate and promote African-Canadian history, culture, and heritage to fellow Canadians and the global community through the building of a Afri-centric focused cultural heritage tourism- entertainment destination based on social enterprise principles.  AfriCana Village will be global destination-centre dedicated to the promotion and elevation of Afri-centric excellence in Arts, Sciences,Culture and Learning. Thereby nurturing and facilitating cultural diversity, intercultural dialogue, and enhanced understanding of Afri-centric cultural traditions and expressions, forms of ingenuity, technical and scientific knowledge, skills and spirituality which were transferred from Africa to world by the African Diaspora and continental Africans. Our objective is to create a cultural heritage asset for Canada that economically and culturally empowers the African-Canadian community, the African Diaspora, and continental Africa.
