Strategic Partnerships

AfriCana Village & Museum seeks partnerships with progressive organizations, foundations, academic institutions and individuals committed to the cause of economic and cultural development of people of African descent.  Our position is that we have had “ENOUGH TALK”, studies, and reports in regards to the socio-economic plight of African- Canadians across this great land. We have to get down to work and start building the economic and cultural infrastructure that will actually create employment and pride of ownership. We have to take control of our lives and OUR destiny.

We seek to engage serious creative and innovative entities and peoples from all backgrounds who genuinely seek to be part of the solution. The proponents of the AfriCana Village vision believes its better to give a man a fishing rod than to keep giving him a fish. AfriCana Village will be OUR fishing rod.  We do not need another basketball court in black communities across Canada, what we need is sustainable economic development from a macro-economic perspective that addresses in a targeted manner the historical, institutional, and structural  marginalization of African –Canadians. If you or your organizations believe there has been “ENOUGH TALK”!! and would like to make a constructive and tangible contribution to this social enterprise and Grand Vision we call AfriCana Village & Museum, then we welcome having a conversation with you about how AfriCana Village & Museum can partner with you to MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!. We intend to be the catalyst that will build a foundation for great economic, educational, and cultural institutions that will speak for African- Canadians and the African Diaspora a thousand years from now!
